“Mighty oaks from little acorns grow.”
Acorn Garden is located in Nyack, Rockland County, New York, USA. It’s within reasonable driving distance of Westchester and Orange Counties in New York, and Bergen and Passaic Counties in New Jersey.
We are a Gardnerian Wiccan Grove that focuses on both the magical and spiritual aspects of Wicca. That means we worship the gods, we create works of magic, and we use each to reinforce the other. Our intent is to provide meaningful religious and magical training in a Wiccan framework.
Acorn Garden accepts seekers interested in studying Gardnerian Witchcraft, with the eventual goal of becoming a priestess or a priest of the Wicca. We welcome those who are serious in their intent to learn, participate in their own spiritual development, and assist others along a similar path.
Those without a sense of ethics or a sense of humor need not apply. Also, there are cats and occasional puppies.
We welcome inquiries from all seekers regardless of gender identity, sexual preference, or relationship style.
Meetings take place about once a month and involve both class and ritual work. Rituals involve the participation of all attendees. The intent of our rituals include spiritual and personal exploration, celebration, worship of the gods, and magical workings.
Our curricula includes:
